Updated: May 16, 2023

Looking to take your lower body workout to the next level? Try the B-Stance Hip Thrust! This exercise is a variation of the traditional hip thrust and is an excellent way to enhance your glute, hamstring, and lower back strength.

To perform the B-Stance Hip Thrust, position yourself in front of a bench or step with one foot on the bench and the other foot on the ground, about a foot away from the bench. Lower your hips towards the ground, then powerfully drive your hips up towards the ceiling, squeezing your glutes at the top of the movement. Repeat for several repetitions before switching sides.

Follow these steps:

  1. Start by strapping on your hip thrust belt and positioning yourself in front of a bench or step.

  2. Place one foot on the bench or step and the other foot on the ground, about a foot away from the bench. This is your B-stance position.

  3. Lower your hips towards the ground, keeping your weight on your front foot.

  4. Powerfully drive your hips up towards the ceiling, squeezing your glutes at the top of the movement.

  5. Lower your hips back down towards the ground and repeat for several repetitions before switching sides.

Using our hip thrust belt can help to enhance your performance and results by providing support and stability to your hips. This allows you to focus on contracting your glutes and hamstrings, rather than worrying about your form or balance.
